So I took the boys to have their nails clipped today, they weren't close to being "very long" at all, but they also hadn't been done since February. Aside from Blitzen's being a little menace and getting a cut quick for his efforts, they seemed surprised that I was getting them done at the length they were at til they realised how long it had been.
So I'm wondering, is there anything that controls how fast or slowly the nails grow? I mean the boys are healthy otherwise, it's not like there's an illness there to cause a problem. But now I'm curious, because I've never had this happen with other pigs either?
