He's gone. I'd rushed home from work, to take him back to the vet, and I found him unconscious. I had time for a last kiss and a cuddle, and he died.

Panda is hiding in the corner, but has eaten some tea. I've been talking to a kind lady at a GP rescue in Sidmouth, they will match lonely pigs up so I'll get in touch with her again soon.

But we will all miss Pedro, a lot. Feeling very sad now.

Oh I'm so sorry that you lost him. It's heartbreaking when they just suddenly go but it is precious to have been there at the end.
Adorable photo - looks like he will be blowing kisses at the Rainbow Bridge.
Big hugs to you and Panda.

I am ever so sorry for your loss. It is always such a massive shock when you find a piggy dead or dying right out of the blue. Pedro was a handsome boy, and I am sure that you and Panda are going to miss him lots in the coming days!

You will be in safe hands with Erica from Little Pips Rehoming; they are one of the rescues that we recommend, and she is offering full residential dating.

I'm so sorry, what a shock. Hope you and Panda are ok.

Hugs to you and Panda. It is awful to lose a piggy so suddenly but at least you got to say goodbye....

Erica @ Little Pip's will look after Panda and find him a new buddy which will never replace Pedro but is a great way to give a new piggy a new start in life.

I'm sorry for your loss... lots of hugs to you and Panda.

Oh no I am so sorry for the loss of your stunning piggy. Massive hugs to you and love to Panda x

Sleep well little one

RIP Pedro

That's a comfort to read about Little Pips. I've been in touch with Erica and will hopefully get a new friend (or friends) sorted soon. But I think we all need time to get used to Pedro not being around first so it won't be tomorrow :)
Panda ate all his tea last night, and was asking for breakfast this morning so it hasn't affected his appetite ... but then not much does!

It's always hard as piggies are usually ready for a new buddy well before we are. It is hard to welcome a new family member when you are still missing one so much but remember it's not replacing Pedro, just giving a new piggy the good home they need. Hugs. x
