Pee On The Floor...

I have the boys c&c cage in the living room. It's just on the floor which is wood. When attempting to get hay out of every nook and cranny in the place, I had to move their cage to get behind it and noticed a wet patch under the cage. After a curious sniff, it could only be pee soaking through. A bit of white vinegar put that right but I thought it a bit weird. I have two towels and two fleeces layered in the cage which is changed every other day. Surely that should be enough to soak it all up? Odd. Very odd.
 
They are probably aiming out of the cage or into a corner lol :D Do you have puppy pads at the bottom? Or maybe use correx as well? I have correx & a base on my C & C but then I put newspaper, then towels, then kids mattress pads (Like puppy pads) followed by a mattress topper, followed by fleece! The towels never even get damp :)

Guinea pigs and the pea :) thats alot of layers :) bet they are very comfy :)
 
LOL yes I think I only put towels under as well because I feel it would be a bit hard without them :roll: Spoilt piggies lol !
