hi guys!

Fudge has just done what looks like an orange pee? Is this normal? Should i be worried?

thought it may be helpful to see the colour of this.... Sorry if thats a bit disgusting!

erm....... i'm not sure then!
Watch Fudge for awhile and see if he does another wee like this, might be worth a chat to your vets. You're a few hours ahead of me, so perhaps give him some water and get him to do a wee for you. (just thinking in case you want to chat to your vets, they'd be closing soon?)

thanks hun! that link says very young piggies may have orange pee, but i wouldnt class Fudge as very young (around 4-5 months). He has been a bit out of character. Silly question.. How can i make him drink water xx

I'd think he's still classed as young :)
Will he take a syringe? if not, offer him some cucumber as that's a nice wet veggie :)

I got my girls used to syringes very early on......quite handy actually! you can get the 1ml syringes (no needles of course) from your vets, they don't usually charge either. I offer water, or even watered down lite Ocean Spray cranberry juice.

thanks have given him sone cucumber by hand, also put a wee bowl in. Will keep a good close eye on him!

good luck! if you can catch a fresh urine sample into a clean container, pop it in fridge till you get to the vets.

FUDGE STOP WORRYING you MUMMY! x)
