I was holding Scuzzy when all of a suddenly he pushed down on me with his paws and really stuck his rear end high up into the air. I was wondering if something was up so I turned him over and saw a white, gooey, mucusy blob coming from his penis.

I wanted to take a picture but, much to my horror, he actually ate it.

He made no noise or showed signs of being in pain, so is this anything to be worried about?

Hi my Burt was at the vets last week as he squeaked whilst doing his business, and later that day on 2 occasions strange things came out of him! One of them was like you described - sticky and white and yes he ate some of it. The other was firmer and like a thin noodle (so grim sorry!). We took both things to the vet wrapped in clingfilm! and the vet said pigs often have and pass things like this. He had a good look all inside Burt's interior (very eye opening! Poor Burt) and said it was nothing to worry about. If it happens again and is accompanied by any squeaking I would get him checked out.

My boys pee is sometimes white. If it's the same thing it's normal BUT can be due to a high amount of calcium in the diet. Things like Kale and spinach are high in this.

The "white, gooey, mucusy blob" is boar glue - part of the ejaculate which is used to 'plug' the female after mating to prevent other males being successful.

The "firmer and like a thin noodle" part is the sperm packet (sperm rod/willy worm/penis plug) and can become hardened if not passed and it becomes a bit 'old'.

Ha thanks Suzy! What a random subject to have such knowledge of ;)
By the time I got my samples to the vets they had altered due to being squished and wrapped in clingfilm.

Oh Suzy, have you ever thought of Mastermind? I'd definately watch :)) I can just picture the face of the guy asking the questions, when this one came up ;)

...Well I'm certainly embarrassed. I guess I sort of should've figured out what it was but he ate it up so fast after he got it out I didn't get a chance to take a good look at it.

He's done the stringy noodle thing as well.

It's nice to know it's normal, but I really wish he'd have just let me throw it away instead of eating it. I still feel a little sick when I think about it.

That's why I only have girl pets! Lol!
Squirrel does disgusting things like that all the time!
:)
