I had my guinea pig, Meg, and her baby out for floor time today and I was watching them while Meg peed I noticed there was quite a bit of blood in her pee which turned it pink. This s the first time I've noticed this and I will be taking her to the vets soon but I was wondering if anyone knew what this could be? She gave birth just over a week ago so I don't know if it's anything to do with that.

Hello - any blood in wee needs attention from your vet, antibiotics (namely Septrin) and pain relief (Metacam) are successful treatments.
What concerns me is that your girl has littered - definitely take her to be seen as soon as possible as there could be something else going on.
Good luck :)

I'm back form the vet. he said that because I only saw it once there isn't anything to worry about but I have to keep an eye on her for a while to check for anything abnormal. So good news then :D
