Cuddling the girls tonight - discovered a small pea sized lump on Peggy's neck just where her left shoulder is :( It feels grissly, It dosen't seem to be bothering her - I have scoured Peter Guerney's health and illness link and am thinking it is a cyst - so will monitor it's size, If it starts to grow I will take her to the vets for them to take a look :(
Any thoughts would be helpfull - this little girl of mine seems to be causing me worry, I don't want her to be suffering :(

It could be a fibroma from your description. Nothing to worry about at that size, it is not malignant. Just keep an eye on it.
A cyst would feel "squashy".

Oh Peggy, will you stop worrying your mummy so much!

As you have said, and as AP said, monitoring it is probably the best thing to do at this stage. If you are still concerned then it would be wise to get her examined by the vet again.

One of my sows was prone to cysts. These lumps felt quite hard to the touch but were basically just big spots. The vet drained a couple of them when they got too big. Best to get it checked to ease your mind but I'm sure Peggy will be fine

A fatty lump (lipoma) is slightly "squashy"
The description "grissly" tends more towards a fibroma. Either way - harmless
