pellet foods

i have always used p@h guinea pig pellet food for my guineas, but want to know if there is a better one for them or if this is a good quality pellet? i definitely want to stick with pellets rather than a muesli type thats for sure, we used to waste lots when they would pick through for their fave bits and kick the rest out onto the floor. so, whats the best pellet food available? thanks.

hi have a look in the food section and you will find reviews on most guinea pig foods about. its not so much about the best nugget its about what your piggies will eat. mine eat wagg optimum and excel and excel blackcurrant and oregano, but they prefer wagg.

You could email the manufacturers and ask if they could send you some samples?

That way you can see which they prefer before buying a larger bag...

quick update, have finally gotten hold of my friend who has these babies with her until they are weaned, and shes got hers on supa excel pellets which they are all eating. so il just keep them on that i think. thank you for the replies, much appreciated
