Pellet Stress...

So they have Cavy Cuisine pellets. Always available, and I know Duncan eats some but Godfrey seems to eat a lot...he's bigger, and weighs more. Now they were both born in March so are growing, but should I feed them a measured portion instead? I just think that they're like children- eat what they want, when they want.
Oh, last time I weighed Godfrey, day before yesterday maybe? He was 1050 grams. So he's chubbier than Duncan but not overweight, still toddles round a lot, and is excellent at running upstairs back home.

It was my understanding when I started to keep guinea pigs that they should have food available to them all the time as they are grazing animals and that they don't over eat. I use grain free pellets that are high in fibre and low carb.

They need hay available at all times but only a small amount of veg. and even less pellets. There is a thread about it here;
