i was just wondering when it comes to pellets how many mg of vitamin c should I be looking for per kilo?

Since guinea pigs need about 10- 30mg daily, just make sure they've consumed enough between the pellets and veg.

I wouldn't worry too much, as long as piggies are eating veg they will be getting enough Vit C

What pellets do you feed your piggies?

Ive only had them for a month and kept them on what they were used to for now although I will b changing once this bag of pets at home nuggets are gone. I didn't want them to have a new home and new food all at the same time. I'm not sure what to move onto tho. I was thinking rosewood naturals meadow menu. The ingredients look great and the price seems reasonable.

I know the calcium is 0.9 but is that really that bad? I did think about science selective but that has calcium carbonate which is bad. I also looked at more expensive brands like oxbow but I can't say I'm keen on the ingredients and also how do we know what all these scientifically named ingriedients are doing to our pigs? That's the reason for my decision so far. What do u think? I think all of the brands have downfalls from what I can see

Not a reply to your question, but the changeover might be better if you mix some of their current pellets with the new ones, starting with a larger am out of current ones and gradually increasing the amount of the new pellets until they are completely changed over. I use Tesco pellets, as my boys love them, but I only really give them when I'm hand feeding them. They get their vitamin C from veggies.
