One of my girls has recently had white powder in her pee and also seems to of developed a UTI, she's currently on anti-biotics, pain relief and pro-biotics. I'm also going to try and increase her water intake.
I fear this may be partly due to the type of pellets she had been eating which were p@h nuggets. Well after some research I bought the pigs burgess excel nuggets and they seem to be enjoying them (I risked it by buying the 10kg bag!) :p
But could this be making things worse? after another search on here I came across JR Farm Grainless Complete Guinea Pig which is meant to be great for pigs prone to bladder problems.
I think Flintstones uses this brand for her pigs (would love to know how your getting on with it) but any and all advice is welcome!
