Ok we are getting into a routine with feeding our 2 girls now! They have 1/4 cup pellets (roughly 20g) between them both for breakfast and they generally eat those by lunch time. Then at tea time the get vegetables. Hay throughout the day (2 or 3 different types).

I've been feeding them Asda pellets and the bag says 15-25g per day per piggie. So having just weighed out the 1/4 cup measurement I realised we aren't feeding what the packet says! Should I give more pellets at tea time too? They get 100g salad/veg between them.

I want to make sure they still want their hay so am trying not to overfeed pellets! Thanks in advance!

Try not to worry about it! Pellets aren't a huge part of their diet- you can even feed them a HAFF (Hay And Fresh Food) diet, so don't worry! My boys just have a nibble of their pellets here and there, and we give them sweet pepper every day and they're healthy as anything:)stick with your routine if you like;)

They're fine, I don't worry too much about pellets. As long as they have a munch here and there, they're topping up their Vit C. Mine just eat theirs when they feel like it!:P

Thanks for your reply...webhave just carried on as a were today! It seems to work nicely :tu:

O I have
Just fill up the bowl when it's empty. I made need to look at this. Have hay available all time and veggies in morning with treats at lunch and veggies for tea.
