Hey All,
I hope you and your piggies are well.
As you know I’m a newbie and so I get worried that I’m not doing the right thing…plus I’m an overthinker 😂 so hoping you guys can make me feel at ease.
I got myself a filter jug, so Harry and Rolo now have water from that.
In the morning, I have been giving them a tablespoon of selective pellets. I was giving them two but I like to use some foraging foods in their hay box and cage (they love this) so I cut the pellets down.
In the evening, they get some veggies, usually it’s romaine lettuce, cucumber, bell peppers and some coriander/cilantro. I have occasionally put some slithers of carrots (i peel the carrot) in it.
Is this enough for them. I’m also worried that I have cut too much out for their calcium intake.
Any thoughts?

Great that you’re giving them filtered water.
I give my 2 roughly a tablespoon of pellets between them as you are doing. I use Science Selective grain free.
An occasional slither of carrot is fine - it’s the sugar that’s the issue there, as it is with fruit.
Other veggies that can be fed are chicory, green beans, occasionally parsley.
There’s a comprehensive list in this part of the forum.
You’re doing fine with their diet.

Your boys are

Thanks for replying. It’s so hard to know whether you are doing the right thing or not.

Thank you..they are very cute! Still trying to get them used to being handled. Some days they don’t mind it, other days they are really nervous and just dont want it 😩 x
