Junior Guinea Pig
I am coming up to buy a fresh new bag of pellets and wanted to try the Selective Naturals Grain Free Guinea pig food and hopefully swap the piggys over to these.
I normally feed Versele Laga Cavia Complete, but as it is this is mainly sold on the internet, it's not something which is usually sold in pet stores.
I have seen the Selective Naturals being sold in pets at home stores and just for pets ,and seems to be available in more internet shops than Versele Laga.
Regarding calcium, I have tried to contact Versele Laga about the whether they use calcium carbonate in the Cavia complete and they have not replied. I have also tried again on facebook and am awaiting their reply.
The versele Laga brand don't state what type of calcium is in their pellets.
As the calcium content is slightly lower in the Selective Naturals then in the Versele Laga I'm thinking if Versele Laga can confirm it is calcium carbonate then the Selective Naturals might be the better pellet.
In view of the above, what do you think might be the better pellets for guinea pigs?
