my three girl are on Burgess excel nuggets, i am thinking of changing to Natural meadow menu as it is grain free and no added sugar. Anybody got any advice please.

Mine always have and probably always will be on Burgess Excel black currant and oregano they really like it, it’s up to you if you think they would prefer the other and it would be healthier.

I am in the process of changing mine from burgess to science selective grain free. I’m just doing it slowly until the burgess are gone. I am afraid I don’t know anything about the natural meadow menu pellets though and how they stack up against other varieties. There is a pellet comparison chart on this site which is really helpful.

Thank you both of you, very interesting what you both had to say. The two main reasons for looking at changing is to a grain free,and less sugar.

the rosewood natural peiiets are good,but i have only two young piggies that will eat them.my other are to used to extruded pellets.i have had much more success transfering onto selective grainless pellets,and versele laga complete cavy grainless pellets.the selective pellets have a 0.6 calcium level which is good if you have any piggies with bladder problems.
