hi i have a question i recently ran out of pellets and my chewy may take a couple of days to arrive . my question is will the piggies be ok for a fews days with out pellets i have never had this happen since i owned piggies for a few years now and feels ashamed to have this happen but between person things and classes started back up for me just slpipped my mind and i feel so bad about it they have hay and carrots for now til i get a chance to go food shopping

Absolutely fine, they are not massively important, aslong as you don't run out of hay or veg, no worries. One of my pigs doesn't even like pellets

They’ll be fine. Pellets only make up 5% of their diet (a tablespoon per piggy per day). But please cut back on the carrots. They should only be fed as a treat, no more than once a week.

Yeah they can go without pellets, I wouldn't worry about it. Do make sure they get plenty of hay though. Especially without the pellets, you need to be careful about not feeding too many veggies.

Why do you only feed carrots once a week?
