Pellets

I am currently feeding p@h nuggets. I was wondering if any of these would be a suitable replacement pellet. If somebody could take a look and let me know that would be great.

Hey, as far as I can tell all of those are supplement/treat pellets - not a day to day feed.

If you're wanting to change to a different pellet I can suggest Wagg Optimum or Burgess Excel as good options.

Oxbow cavy cuisine or performance depending on the age of your pigs.

I use Burgess Excel and my piggies love it! The Blackcurrant and Oregano Excel pellets are brilliant as well, particularly for younger piggies as they're a lot smaller.

I can't really use burgess excel as I'm told they have basically the same ingrediants as p@h. Do oxbow deliver in the UK?

Use either Oxbow Cavy Cuisine or Burgees Excel Nuggets. Cavy Cuisine are Timothy Hay based and are the best as it's the best nutritionally and Guinea Pigs love it. The only bad thing about Cavy Cuisine is they are expensive (£10 for 2kg). Excel Nuggets are also good nutritionally and the black current and oregano flavoured variety are very popular with piggies.

If your Guinea Pig's are young or nursing then feed them Cavy Performance which is made by also made by Oxbow and very similar to Cavy Cuisine nutritionally but is Alfalfa based which suits younger or nursing Guinea Pigs.
