Penny has taken a serious turn for the worse

So Penny's appetite has definitely improved, it's not back to completely normal but at least she's eating, however she's still losing weight? She's all the way down to 758g. I've started her back up on critical care, but her poo's look normal. I think she's still barbering herself, I'm afraid she's still in pain. Is there a possibility she could have some pressure in her ears from the prior ear infection that is just really bothering her? The vet wanted to wait on the xray so as to not stress her out too much but now I think it'll have to be done. I can't stand the thought of her being in pain.

Is she still on the metacam? I would as you say top her up with critical care, definitely agree with you and think its time to possibly get an X-ray. Des your vet do them conscious?
The barbering would lead me to think it is a pain response. How much weight as she lost? How long has she been on the antibiotics? Treacle used to lose around 60g overall when on Baytril sometimes.
Lots of healing vibes to Penny, really hoping she starts to improve soon x

Yes, she's still on metacam. She was on it for twice a day and then the vet wanted to bump her down to only once a day (yesterday was the first day for just once a day). She was 913g when this whole thing started back on 6-13 and now she is 758g as of last night, so about 150g in 3 weeks? She's not on any antiobiotics anymore, that was stopped almost a week ago because the vet thought she was having such a serious reaction to it. Right now she's just on some metacam and some homeopathic anti-nausea to help boost her appetite (which is definitely working). The vet isn't open on Sundays so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow until I can call the vet to ask what they think I should do. I just don't want her to lose anymore weight.

And no, my vet doesn't do xrays conscious that's why he wanted to wait as to not stress her out even more by putting her under GA.
