One year today we picked up a very nervous Pepe from Kate (Starshine). With a fear of strange hands due to being previously mishandled, he was not able to be paired with any other boys and we thought it would be unlikely he ever would - until he met Leo. Now they have a wonderful "gay marriage" and although we have the odd spat and squabble, he's the happiest and most relaxed we have seen him yet :)
So a few pics from past and present for Kate and just to show how special and handsome my gorgeous, big and buff boar is :smitten:

Thank you all :) He's a really lovely piggie :smitten:

***off to hide Pepe from Glynis just in case she comes to the UK a-pignapping ;D ***

I swear this beautiful hunk of love just keeps on getting more and more gorgeous!

Julie and Marty did a fabulous thing in offering him a home - I really saw him as a total no hoper as he had been with me for months due to the fact that he had been badly abused in the past and had a horrendous fear of hands coming anywhere near him.

He now has the best Mum and Dad out there and I know that with their love and devotion he has come a long way.

Awwww how sweeet :smitten: I ont see why people dont want a challenge and take this loving boar home with them only because he has a fer of hands :( most of my piggies have a fear of hands but not in the same way ;D they just think oh no not camera time again ::)

Well done for offering him a home O0 :smitten: You are very lucky to have him :)

Aww, thanks Kate :embarassed: I know I've told you this before, but he's just the most affectionate and loving piggie and curls up on my lap almost every laptime. It's definately our benefit to have given him a home! When he was ill, he was so very good with his syringe feeding - I didn't even have to pick him up, he just trundled up and happily accepted the syringe in his run, no questions asked :smitten:

ILA, yes we are lucky to have him - he's been a very rewarding piggie. I won't say it wasn't hard work with the hands thing, but he improved 100% once we moved him to an open C&C - and we have no other animals (or small children!) to bother them all either.

Wow beautiful.......

Lovely pics

You must be so proud
xx :smitten:

Thank you :) We are tremendously proud of him, he's come a fair way. He's still not happy being picked up Katie, and struggles a bit but gets over it really quickly :smitten:

Aw bless him! Our Roly doesn't like being picked up at all but once on your knee he settles down and licks my arm! Its so rewarding when they get to trust you isn't it!

Yes, it feels like a real acheivement when they feel comfortable enough to snooze out on you for a bit. Roly sounds like such a sweetie!

Oh Julie, what gorgeous pics and beautiful boars :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

You and Marty are the best piggy parents!
