this afternoon I made the heartbreaking decision to have my beloved Peppa pig put to sleep. It breaks my heart and after 4 1/2 years there is a massive hole in my heart.

She's been struggling the last few months but her heart and breathing weren't great, she's lost 200grams and was losing her sparkle.

That last cuddle was the hardest thing I've ever done and miss her cheeky little face so so much.

I have to think I did this for her. I could have been selfish but she was struggling and as a caring piggy owner it takes a lot to say night night.

Thanks for all your help and support. Feels so weird to have no piggies anymore : (

I am ever so sorry for you. Letting a piggy go is such a heart-breaking and never lightly taken decision, but sometimes it is the only gift we can give a beloved pet to spare it any further suffering. RIP Peppa
