This evening I noticed Pepper looking a bit down again so I checked her sides and her bloat is definately starting to return :(. We went and got some gripe water and have given her 3mls hopefully to make her comfortable untill I can get her to a vets...

I think it must be grass making her poorly as she was out for about an hour this evening and seemed fine when I went to work this morning.

She's stopped eating again and will be syringe fed till we get back to the vets too... poor Pep, she looks very down! :(

Pepper died this morning. She was in alot of pain and we were cuddling her and she started having little fits and then passed away....

Oh hun I'm so sorry, you did all you could. Those little movements are usual when a pig passes over, they are out of it by that time. It is more distressing for us.

Thinking of you and Pepper. x

Oh no, what a shock and heartbreak! I'm so sad for you! At least Pepper could go with your love carrying her through. You did your best, but it was not to be.

RIP Pepper - may you graze happily on the other side of the rainbow!

I'm so sorry you lost her. You did everything you could, take comfort that she had a great life with you and that you were with her at the end. Rest well, sweet Pepper. xx
