Pig Dad noticed pepper was holding his head funny…
Pulled a lovely long piece of hay out of his eye!
I popped a drop in it from when Pringle had a hay poke, and he dived straight back in the hay!
I will call the vets in the morning to see if we need to go in!

Well done piggy dad for noticing so quickly. Hope his eye is ok. ❤️

Glad you noticed it so quickly.

Hopefully it will heal straightforward without any ulceration; especially as you have got the hay out. But always important to have the eye checked in case it is getting infected.

Yes we were super lucky, just as our dinner was hitting the pan mind!
Already is looking much better but I’ll give the vets a call in the morning!

Just finished at the vets, not to much damage done, we have some of the antibiotic drops for him!

The vet also said they have an exotics working two days a week there now which is great news if we needed something more serious!

Aw glad my little handsome man is ok! And a good boy for his eye drops! Definitely enjoying that hay!:))
Good news about the vet, hope they’re great with piggies if you need them :) x
