I give my piggies peppers most days , I'm just wondering does anyone know if they're able to eat the green stalk on top of the pepper I always cut it off and just give them slices?

I believe the tops are toxic, like in tomatoes. Better safe than sorry and don’t feed the green bits.

Always good to check. I know I have fed them before - I didn’t even think about it, didn’t occur to me that they might be like tomato tops - and they were and are totally fine! But I don’t feed them now I know they’re sketchy

I usually cut them off and the green bits at the tops of aubergine (egg plant). With fruit and veg I go by the general rule would I eat it? If the answer is no then the piggies don't have it either!

It's Meg's absolute favourite! I don't give them much just about 1cm slice cut into small cubes every couple of days. They also love black cabbage (cavelo nero).
