can piggies have peppers ? i bought a pack from Aldi it has 1 green 1 red 1 yellow pepper in if yes can they eat any colour ? please

Not sure if the is one colour they should not have but i know that red is higher in sugar.

Brandy loved pepper but none of the rest really like it.

we call peppers capsicium here in oz, have tried mine on the green and yellow ones and only zoe ate any but due to her soft poops(not nescressarily due to capsiciums) we took her off them. jessie and faline the bunny wouldn't have a bar of them! if they are high in sugar we may give them a miss as our vet recksons our piggies get too much sugar now. give it a go, hoping your piggy likes them. introduce them slowly as to not upset their tummies. hugs and cuddles to your fur babies. :smitten: :smitten:

I give mine some green pepper everyday, they love it. Red contains more sugars so once a week or as a treat, yellow is not as good as green but can be given once/twice a week. But it's green all the way here.

Not like Joe then as he has no interest what so ever in Girls or any naughty activities he ignores the girls ;D its his cage mate Jimmy that loves flirting he strutts his stuff at the other side of the divider when they are running out. :smitten:

I'm sure that is why they get on so well even when around girls as Joes just not bothered. ;D

Mine love peppers too! Its usually the green/yellow peppers they get as I use the red peppers in meals.

I always offer green pepper but neither of my 2 monkeys will touch it only really like lettuce, spinage and fresh herbs, parsely is there fav! xx
