i usually buy a bag of value peppers from wherever I'm shopping but in morrisons they went up from £1.36 i think it was to nearly £2.00 in a matter of a weeks! i get them from adsa now you get 4-5 peppers for around £1.30 odd unless they have gone up too.

Thats where we shop in morisons and they have gone up quick but thast nearly every type of veg i feed my piggies :o not sure about asda its to far away unless my dad takes me.

Fab - thanks, I'll try Tesco here. I normally Asda's value mixed bag too but I haven't been up this week - trying to save money on petrol.

I bought a pepper plant yesterday!

I'm going to try and grow my own lol

they are quite easy to grow from seed.. just take a seed from the pepper and plant it it comes up fairly quick we just got ours in a bit too late last year so it didnt grow properly

I never feed my piggies with peppers so I wasn't sure it was ok for them.
I guess it is ok then judging by the posts above.
Can the peppers be any colour ... green, red, orange or yellow?

I am growing some in a pot in the garden but I reckon if they fruit then they will be for my consumption only! Mean, or what? ;D

yep peppers are fine for them, any colour although some won't eat some colours ::) mine eat everything except corgette ::) ;D it's competition from others

Yup any colours mine eat them all, but thne they eat anything ;D ;D except mangetout beans they scoop them to one side and leave them 98) ;D
