Peppers

I bought some peppers the other week when they were on special offer in tesco's.
Well two of my piggies won't touch them but the other two love them more than lettuce.
I was wondering how much can they have and how often?

well I give mine a slice of pepper each every day (about 1 ninth of a pepper) and they have romaine lettuce every day (that's if I can buy them on offer)

Green Peppers are very good for them I would say 1/8th per day would be fine as thats all they need for the vit c. Red Pepper has the most sugar so maybe once a week. Yellow/Orange would be next with the sugar content and I'd say twice a week.

All mine love peppers. Red are my fav which is good as the pigs don't get them as much! I nick the green for my currys though...lol

I didn't know red and others are high in sugar, so thanks Sunshine. I shall start using more green than the others :-)

I didn't know that either so thanks for the hint. Having said that, mine don't like peppers ;D
