Percy and Simba had some grass time today - I was sitting watching them in their run and the next minute a leaf had blown in and Percy had eaten it. Half was brown. I tried to take it off him but he had devoured it! I am freaking out that it may poison him! The run is near climbers but it didnt look like that. It could literally be from any plant in our garden! What do you advise lovely people? X

I have had this happen several times - they see you coming to get it and I’m sure they chew faster!

Monitor him - what has gone in has to come out the other end with guinea pigs - Ensure his weight is stable, that he doesn’t appear lethargic, his poops are well formed (not soft, diarrhoea etc) and he is otherwise happy and well.
If you become concerned then do speak to your vet.

I hope he is ok
