Perfecting the wheeeeeeeeek

No video, sadly. I couldn't quite get one.
But over the last few days, I can safely say that my boys have completely perfected their wheeks.

Yes...They've gone from me "Wheek. Feed me." to "WHEEEEEEEEK! FEED ME! FEEEEED MEEEE!" you can hear them ANYWHERE in the house now. I've even heard them from the back garden!

If they want feeding, the whole house knows about it now! And my neighbors, too! I bet they aren't impressed, my boys decided to wheek the house down at 1am this morning {:|
And me, being the softy that I am...Got out of bed and fed them!
 
Sounds like your boys are feeling VERY much at home now! :))
 
My new guinea pigs are like that Blossom & Honey actually all my guinea pig are like that lol!
 
heehee, mine are the same, when all four of them get going (my two and my foster 2) you'd think i hadn't fed them for days! they can hear me cutting up veg in the kitchen, so everytime i'm doing something with the chopping board they start! x

It's amazing. I never knew they could make so much noise. Their popcorning antics have also gotten louder.

I remodeled the cage a few days and since then they've both come right out and are louder and more confident.
It's so strange. I can't believe something like that could change them! Maybe they like their new set up :))
 
I love it when piggies discover their wheek . Its such a lovely sound!
 
It's amazing how loud they can get. I live in a flat and the guineas have the run of the veranda/balcony (it's fully enclosed on 3 sides and the 'balcony' part is solid brick so it's very sheltered and has loads of space for them). The other day I walked out of the shop across the (very busy) road and could easily hear them shouting for their dinner :red . Every time they wheak people keep looking up and laughing at the noise. :))

Because their hay comes in these big brown bags and their nuggets come in a noisy bag as well - you only have to rustle a bag in this house and someone starts wheeking, the sound of the fridge door opening and the sound of chopping as well starts them off...Fudge who was the quietest of my piggies is in with the loudest and he is almost as loud now too :))
