20140426_230921.webp Oh dear... However adamantly I insisted I wouldn't get attached to my surprise babies, I'm seriously upset about the fact I have to find them new homes soon - especially this little monster!

Husband says no but I'm trying to make him come round - any good tactics for persuading other halves to have four fur-babies rather than two...?

I would refuse to give them up! I realise that is not helpful. How about saying they have to stay with their mum for six months? Then when six months have past your partner will have fallen for them too! Your piggy is adorable.

Haha, he loves him too but is being a right old meany, saying I can keep him if I give up my original lady-pigs. Not a chance mate!

Good luck. I really hope you can keep them. I used to have two piggies and now have five. The more the merrier!

I don't think I'd be able to give them up either, compromise and only keep half of the babies...:D

My hub has been telling me that I have too many piggies since I went from two to four. Several years on, I have now got around two dozen... but I had to make some major concessions re. hub's hobby. Perhaps that is the way to go for you, too? ;)

I had to give up my first lot of (shop sow) surprise babies as they coincided with a major family crisis and despite trying my best, the logistics were just not working out. But I cried the whole way home from the rescue, and I still rue it to this day even though it is a decade now. If you can hang onto them, please do!

They're still too likkle to move on, but just thinking about it makes me sad. That one in particular is such a little character!
