Pecan is due a visit to the vets =( I want to be able to take Maple for support.

I need some advice on a pet carrier - links and pictures would be extremely helpful!

I've got this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Savic-Trotter-Carrier-Atlantic-light/dp/B003Y3UKD2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1389736733&sr=8-6&keywords=cat carrier

And this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Catit-Voyageur-MacMillan-Carrier-48-3x32-6x28cm/dp/B004P90JXU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389736733&sr=8-3&keywords=cat carrier

I prefer the top one as it's a little easier to open and close with one hand (usually with a piggy in the other!) The bottom one also has gaps along the side which are big enough for poo to fall out (quite embarrassing when sitting in the vets, and annoying during car journeys)

Both are big enough for two piggies to move around happily enough for an hour or two.

If you have a jtf near you I got a cat carrier gor 2.99 plus vat today. I also have the blue savic small pet carrier. And a simular one which is supposed to be for cats in red by savic

We have a selection of carriers, mainly cat ones for the pigs and pig ones for the hamsters, plus a couple of folding canvas ones. We make sure we have enough to get them all out in a fire. Our main one we use for clinic trips is a large Savic one that holds up to 4 pigs but if we are going to the vtes just down the road and it's only me going I tend to use one of the folding canvas ones.

Ok so this is one of the ones I have :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Savic-Pet...158?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d46424ea6 - I got for about £5 used

I Have this one too which I also got second hand I have carried 3 pigs in here but it is quite heavy with 3 in lol :

and of you have a JTF near you http://www.jtfmegadiscountwarehouse.co.uk/

I got a cat carrier yesterday for 2.99 plus vat which I plan to use to train my pigs to come out of the cage in without any fuss by bribing with veggies, thought it would be easier for this with a front opening door. - Plus I have 8 which I hope will end up in 3 groups so I need 3 ideally just incase I need to take them all to vets at once!

I have a few carriers depends how many I am taking. If its a single piggy I use one of these, opening top makes it easier to remove them and safer if you brake sharp etc....

But if I'm taking a pair or a group I use a cat carrier. Like the top one Jerrybelly posted. Plenty of space for two and the top lifts off if they being difficult to get hold off :)
