Just doing my weekly big clean and I went to put all fleece etc into the mesh pet wash bag and broke the zip☹️
Can anyone recommend a large size drawstring version I can get to replace this one? Had a look but not sure many of the mesh ones with drawstrings are fine enough to stop the hay bits and hair escaping- they look more like bags for washing your "delicates" in.

Can you tie the top of the bag with an old shoelace/ribbon until you can find a new bag?

I use a horse wash bag it's great & stops hairs & hay going into the washing machine :D

I use a single duvet cover with a zipper. It was much cheaper than a horse wash bag (I got it cheap because the pattern is ugly) and works fine.

Yes I will have to that until I get a new one. That's the type I have, but I'm guessing of it's for horse things it would be an enormous bag?

I used to use a duvet cover with an elastic band round the top until I bought a strong cotton wash bag with a zip.

We use horse wash bags (same ones as @VickiA uses). They are not huge as most of our equine laundry can't be done in a standard washing machine anyway. So they are designed for smaller items. Our horse rugs and larger items etc are washed in the industrial machine on the yard.

I defo recommend one of the horse wash bags also.. had mine for over 4 years now and its still going strong and when i empty it out - it really does catch hay in it !
