Hi there, I have a double story cage I keep my piggies in, indoors over winter and a large outdoor run I use in summer, but the outdoor run is heavy to move and they soon chew all the grass in a day or two so I acquired a light weight pet run I was hoping to move around the garden daily to allow them fresh grass but I think the gaps maybe to big? The piggies look far to big to fit through but I guess they could squeeze an escape if they desired to?
The gaps are just under 4cms, Any idea what is the max gap? Thanks0F60C7BE-D70A-4CCC-9088-028FE5E094E8.webp

How old are your pigs? The grids on c&c are 3.5cm (I think!) so I think you should be ok.

Mine are in a similar run to that and are fine. When I had baby piggies (shop pregnancy I DID NOT breed them) they went in outside run from 8 weeks old and never escaped.

It looks similar to my run, and with full grown piggies you should be fine.
But I would only leave them in there when supervised and during the daytime (with shade and appropriate shelter of course) as thos gaps would allow other animals (rats, martens, stoats, etc) to fit in and they could harm your piggies.

This looks fine as long as your piggies are not babies x You can use tent pegs to hold it down so no dogs or cats can move it or tip it over 👍

Hi! My guinea pigs live indoors in a converted puppy “pen” and the bars are just under 4cm. They easily escaped it when they were 4-7 months old but now they are about a year and a half and it’s impossible to get through so as long as your pigs are adults, they’ll be fine! Glad you checked, safety first :)
