pet sitting/boarding

Hi all this is probably a daft idea but I have been searching for affordable boarding for my small animals (guinea pigs, rats, degus, gerbils and a rabbit) and all I can find is expensive outdoor boarding homes. I am in the south west. I do have friends that have said they are happy to help but I think it is too much to expect of people. So I was wondering if anyone knows of any pet sitting circles, a bit like a babysitting circle. Do these exist? If not is there a reason why or just something nobody has tried? I would be happy to be in one and look after oth

How about if you pay your friends? That way you're not 'expecting' them to help you, you're paying for their services saves your furries being shipped out to boarding x
