Our lovely Claire Love fostered two needy piggies for us and they came to us healthy except for a little eye op which Pete needed to have done...probably why owners gave them up.They are the sweetest little boys timid but very cute and gradually coming on.Pete had an unusual eye condition,a little lump on his conjunctiva which actually grew hairs,sp poor pete kept getting ulcers every time the hairs grew.Claire had been removing them but a longer term solution was needed.
Our Vet was very interested with the lump and pete had it removed on friday,its just a matter of seeing if all the follicles were removed !
I do hope we can get the right home for these two little boars preferably with an experienced owner who can do after checks.Will keep you all posted.
