Everyday i seem to hear more about the disgusting way that Pet shops treat and look after their pets. They seem to just see them as profit and it sickens me to the bone.
I dont know if its getting worse or if its just that more people are saying about it, as they are realising that there are actually problems.
One of my local pet shops offers a free consulation with any animal brought to check it is fit and well and you have up to 2 weeks to take it them after your purchase date. I think that is a fab idea.
Anyway I'm not really sure what I'm saying but i just find myself reading stories about the horrible and unacceptable way animals are kept.
I dont know if its been done before but i found a petition page, would it be worth composing a petition, for better treatment of animals when up for sale?
