Has anyone tried these for their Guinea pigs/rabbits? Pick and Mix Apple Bakes | Pets At Home I can't go to pets at home very often and was thinking about buying some. Are they healthy? I was only planning on feeding 1-2 per week per Guinea pig. I usually stick to natural treats like burgess and woodlands naturals but I'd like to give these a try.

I dont know enough about nutrition to say if they are healthy or not but I bought bag of them and the carrot ones on the day I got my guinea pig from pets at home. My guinea pig wouldn't even touch them, he would happily eat other food out my hand but showed no interest in them even if I left one in the cage. I just give him bell pepper or herbs as a treat now, he loves it. for an extra special treat he gets babycorn

Mine usually aren't fussy at all and will try most things,if they didn't like them I'm sure my rabbit would. I just don't want to buy them something unhealthy.

Ok thank you. Are the natural treats ok?

Have a look at the ingredients on the packet . I would avoid giving anything that contains glucose +/or sugar. personally, I think Guinea pigs prefer a bit of their favourite veg or herb as a treat - or a handful of a different hay .

I'll stick to the vegetables then, they really love them especially kale.

The nutritional information states that they contain over 10% glucose, so I would definitely avoid them.
Plus I always think anything that colorful is designed more to appeal to the owner than the animal who will be eating it.
