I bought 2 guinea pigs from pets at home in November, does anyone know how old they are when their ready to be bought? I think it`s either 6 or 8 weeks old

Usually around the 6 week mark but depends how long they had been in store waiting to be brought

Hi and welcome! They are supposed to be between 8 - 10 weeks old and a certain weight before they are allowed to be sold.

When I got Velvet and Betsy from Pets at Home nearly 2 years ago I was told they were between 6 and 8 weeks old.
