are they ok to use on piggies? maisie has been sitting in wee again and i need to clean her bum bum!

I've used the p@h grooming wipes before for situations like yours and find them to be safe, so i'm guessing those wipes would be ok too. I have started to use baby wipes on my boy's bits as the grooming wipes dry out very quickly. Although I could be wrong for using them?

What bedding do you use? If this is a recurrent problem you may want to consider changing to a different type. Personally I would not use woodshavings, for example, as they are not very absorbent.

i use layers of newspaper, then towels, then profleece one end and normal fleece the other end. one end has a big pile of hay aswell.

i clean the hay part out everyday and sweep up the poops etc, and change the fleece blankets everyday, and the profleece every other day.

i had to trim maisie fur round her bum the other week as when it gets longer she trails it through the wee! she sits in her wee occasionally, not that often.

they are due a bath this week so can clean her up and trim some more, just needed somthing to keep her clean now. i panic about flies and things.

Blimey!

It sounds as if your piggies are living in a fleecey paradise!

How frustrating that her bum is wet: hope you're able to sort something out for her.

i like buying new fleece :))

i remembered i posted about this a while ago :red i gave her a flannel bum bath then! so could do that again. just with a tiny bit of shampoo. then rinse it well.

i just used a bit of their manuka and neem shampoo and some flannels and give her a quick wipe down. she didn't mind, and liked her parsley reward after! :))
