Tonight when I was holding Red for the first time with me draped in the towel, I was petting him. With every stroke of my hand he would give a squeak that sounded just like a party balloon being rubbed with a wet finger. When I stopped petting him, the squeaking would stop. When I started, the squeaking started. He squeaked in time with the petting, too, so it sounded just like I was rubbing a guinea pig balloon. It was so cute.
