As you all know, I’m currently without piggies following the very sad passing of my lovely Iris.
Piggies have lived in our dining room (aka the Piggy Room) since we first moved in over 20 years ago and a great many have passed through in that 20 years - my own and foster piggies for the rescue. I plan to foster again once the OH has completed re-decorating the house (another story for another day) but for the time being and until gloss painting fumes are a thing of the past that room is empty. So how do you explain why I regularly hear the sounds of drinking from a water bottle (that unmistakable rattle of the ball bearing); paper ripping and occasional bar rattling? I’m not alone in this. The OH has also confessed to having heard it, too. I’ve been and checked in there so many times. No Wheeks or rumbling. Just the noises over described. I’m wondering if we have a little phantom piggy whose spirit is still residing with us. Or perhaps it’s just wishful thinking…..
