We recommend using photobucket. It is free and you can copy/paste the pictures directly into your post without having to struggle with attachments. You can set your account on photobucket to private.
The direct uploading facility of this forum is very limited to ensure that it runs at a reasonable speed.
PS: You can also edit your pics on photobucket - crop or add writing (in decorate), like I did with my avatar.
