Put the herd away after their floortime into a freshly cleaned cage and I thought it was a nice opportunity to take some photos

I’m really struggling trimming Mary’s nails. Their pitch black so I’m scared I’m going to cut the quick! and there naturally twisty and she’s very squirmy at being held! :hmm:

Lovely photos! Why not take Mary to the vet and they can clip her nails? We accidentally caught Smokey’s quick and he was rather displeased!

I always take my herd to the vet where the nurse trims their nails. It’s much less stressful.
You have such a lovely herd

Awwww cuties! A vet can show you have to trim black nails and some vets do regular nail trims if you are concerned- worth an ask

The guides here have some good videos and advice on how to hold a squirmy pig when clipping nails. :) If it helps, I got my piggos comfortable with nail clipping by stroking their paws during cuddle time and in their cage.
