I mentioned in another thread how my kitty will slowly 'sneak up' on the guinea pig when she's in my lap, by laying down next to me on the couch, and gradually 'drifting' closer and closer, ever so innocently stretching in the piggy's direction till she could touch the pig.

Finally, with many patience, I caught it on film:

That entire sequence took about fifteen minutes for her to move that far. No piggies were even scared in the making of this clip (Kitty knows better and knows my 'stop what you're doing now' voice I use when I say 'be nice'. Piggy just sat there like she always does. )

:)) That's so cute! I have always been nervous about letting my cats near during cuddle time. Looks like everyone gets along well in your house! :(|)

well, my other hand in most of those photos is floating just out of sight, juuust in case, but the kitty hasn't tried anything since she was a kitten seven years ago with one of the birds.

I wouldnt leave the two alone that's for sure.

btw, during this filming, three parrots were clambering on the couch behind me trying to get my attention.

So cute - you must have a proper zoo at home!

awwwwwwww you said how cute it was and it IS x)x)x)
She actually looks like she wants to mother your piggie :)

Gosh now we're going to need to see pics of the parrots too, isn't this one of the parrots that you said was Ninja parrot Mimi? :))

When Cashew and I lived with my parents, Princess (our interloper cat) would creep over to me and do pretty much the same thing. I thought she was trying to snuggle/slowly kill Cashew until one day she gave a push and I realised - as Cashew went tumbling off my lap onto the couch - that she wanted to be where the guinea pig was.

Both beautiful, that is my kind of cat, I love torties. Maybe your guinea just doesn't notice your cat, what with that mop of hair! :)

LOL our kittens mum was jealous of the piggies. If you were spending a lot of time with the piggies Tinkerbell would prowl round you and when you moved she would bite your ankles. Tut, naughty cat.

there's parrot pictures in my thread in 'other pets' for you to see. as well, I have pictures of Fig and Isaac that I need to get up as well.
