Picking Up 2 More Piggies :)

looks like I'm getting 2 more piggies! I see a post on facebook 2 guinea pigs for sale not far away from me there 2 years old. the lady said she dident have the time for them anymore as shes just had a baby. These 2 will be my last piggies I get for a while. there names are sophie and teto. but there new names will Be Ruby & Millie :)
I'm hoping hope has at least 1 girl piggy so I can keep one of her babies so I will have 12. so no more piggies for me but I'm glad to have rescued a few :)

the red and black one- is going to be called Ruby
and the long haird will be called Millie :)
will be picking them up Monday afternoon :)

I notice from previous posts that you have already " rescued " a sow who you have discovered is pregnant. Wouldn't it be wise to wait and see how many babies she has?
 
I will be keeping a girl piggy if she has one. I think shes having 2 babies. if she has just boys I may look into getting 1 ofthem done so he can go in with my herd of girls. :)

I'm thinking you won't be able to resist any of the babies :D. Whats it like having 12 piggies? How much extra time does it add to the daily care routine to cope with that many? and how many cages?
Just curious as I've never had that many of any pet.
 
they will all live in a shed. :)
I have. Maisie,Callie,Poppy,Suzie,Patch,Brandy,willow all in the shed.
and I have Pregnant Hope in a Cage indoors with Darcy
then I pick up new piggies Millie and ruby on Monday :) it will be extra work but woth it :)
routine atm I go up mornings top up hay,dry food, then night I do hay again,water and veggies. and clean them out once/twice a week :) and health checks once a month but will soon be doing them weekly :) I also have a 17 month old and 2 puppies so I have a mad house :) lol
 
I now have fourteen as jaz had four babies.I sweep up three times day, hay top up twice a day and veg feed once a day.

Puppies and a baby too? you crazy lady! :hug:
It must pose a challenge to get pet sitters if you need to go on vacation!

Never was there a more fitting forum name :cool:. I love you piggies they are so adorable in the picture threads.
 
i love it I live with my partners family there's 4 generation's in one house my partners nan, my partners mum,my partner,me and our daughter with 2 grown up dogs and 2 puppies and soon to be 12 piggies. its a mad house! lol my partners family normally look after them all when we go on holiday but we haven't had a holiday as a family of 3 yet x
 
We have three dogs, two teenagers, me and my boyfriend, the piggies, two rabbits and tropical fish.Totally hectic but amazing fun.My kids look after my animals if I am away overnight.Anything more us a while off yet
