Great cage.Yes you are right, once they go in it will never be like that again
 
I love the heart sign. They are two lucky little boys. It is such a relief they are going to be loved after their awful previous owner.
 
I hope you've got spare cosies! Its good that you've got two of everything to prevent squabbles. Well done!
 
What a lovely clean cage - never to be again - LOL - its so exciting getter new guinea's give them a big cuddle from me

I think that was part of what drew me to them. If it weren't for a kind neighbour the cats might have got them by now.

It's been a long wait! I reserved them beginning of October and have been paying toward their upkeep as I couldn't get them until my son & his family moved out to their new home.

Last count I had 12 hideys, 8 tunnels, 8 cuddle cups & 2 hidey hammocks. Plus 2 more hidey hammocks & 2 more cuddle cups are on order. Of course this lot is to be shared with my current 2 boys. No wonder the spare bedroom wardrobe is chockers with piggy stuff..

They're here! Will get photos as soon as they're settled. Refusing to come out of their hideys when I'm around. But the vegies disappear mysteriously as do the nuggets. Woke up this morning to find a trail of poop leading to the hay tray & some strands of hay knocked out of the tray so I know they've been exploring in the night. No sign of them using the water bottles yet.

A bit disappointed in their condition considering they've come from a refuge & I contributed to their upkeep until I could pick them up. Both boys have rather long nails. One boy is a long hair badly needing a haircut. I've already cut out 2 hair mats from the back end. Have booked them in to the cavy groomer for Thursday for a Cavy Heaven spa treatment. After that I should be able to keep up with their nails & hair.
 
That is very disappointing but at least they are with you now and will be getting the best love and care.
 
Yay! Donny and Mason have finally found a new home! I saw them in the rescue when I was going to get my pigs :) They are so cute!! Can't wait to see pigtures of them :)

So you know what gorgeous big boys they are! I am planning to weigh them & take photos on Thursday before & after their Cavy Heaven spa treatment. So pigtures by the end of the week!

So far the only time they've been out of their hideys in my presence is when I take them out for their daily vitamin C tablet. I know they're moving around by the trail of poops and the disappearing food. This morning though I caught Donny exploring so I quietly watched as he did a circuit of the cage. He is apparently the boss so hopefully Mason will follow suit soon.
