Picking up one at a time

If you own 2 guinea pigs is it okay to pick up one at a time? Is it okay when they have established an hierarchy? And if they havent yet?

Yes it’s ok. I pick mine up one at a time. I kind of figured out the hierarchy when it wasn’t so obvious.

If hierarchy has been established, always pick up and put back the dominant one first. We love pigtures here btw

I'd also say for the first couple of months bring them both out for laptime at the same time. They get a lot of confidence and comfort from each other, so that often helps with things!
