My partner and I got the call today that we can go collect the boy we applied for from RSPCA tomorrow! I can barely contain my excitement!

I've set his temporary cage up ready, sorted his carry case and a packed lunch for him to eat on the way home. My work colleagues think I'm mad as I'm bringing it to work with me to keep it in the fridge as we can only go after work.

We lost one of our boys, Rocket, a couple of months ago and it hasn't been the same without a third voice wheeking for his tea. So if all goes well after the new pig has settled in, he'll be introduced to our softer boar. If not, I guess it'll be back to three big cages again!

We picked him up after work this afternoon, everyone meet Parker! Our other pigs both have Marvel-style names, Jarvis and Quill, so the moment we saw him we knew he was the pig for us.

He's very nervous at the moment but that's to be expected after an hour long car journey to a strange place with strange people. He seems to have settled in a bit since we got back, he's been tucking into some veggies and hay and comes out of his cuddle sack when he thinks we aren't looking. He's definitely never seen a hay bag though, however..

Ohhhhhhhh those eyes! Precious, precious little one! Congrats on your absolutely adorable new baby. Sooo cute! Parker is a perfect name for this little one. Great names :-)

I hope he settles down soon, I want him to feel comfortable before I try introducing him to my softer boar, I hate seeing him in his tiny temporary cage!

Looks like he had fun in the hay bag. It looks like your other piggie was looking at the commotion!
