Morning,

I have 2 very picky babies (9 wks) who, despite being given many new foods to eat will still only touch Cauliflower Leaves, Kale, Cucumber, Carrots and parsley!

I am worried that giving them 2 small meals of this each day will give them too much calcium in their diet but if i dont give them it to eat, they wont get their vit c each day and become ill as they wont touch anything else i give them.

I have tried tomato, sweetcorn, peppers, broccoli, grapes, brussell Sprouts and they wont touch them - fussy little monkies!

PLease help as I dont know what to do.

Kale and parsley have vit c in. There is a sticky about calcium rations but I don't know how to add links. For the vit c you can look on the guinealynx website. What they eat now doesn't sound too bad to me but you can look at stuff yourself and work it out from there.

At such a young age, calcium is not an issue, though I do understand your frustration at their stubbornness to try other foods! It's mainly the pigs over 6-8 months who need to watch what they eat - no need to fret over calcium for another few months. :)
