I just gave Terra his morning fruit/veggie and I bought a brand new bowl to put them in. Iserved him in his new bowl and he wouldnt eat it. I dont know if he was afraid of the bowl or what but I had to put it in his old bowl before he would eat it! Silly Terra.

Some piggies don't like new things - did you wash it before you put it in? It may have smelled differently. Some guinea pigs can be very iffy with new stuff - I have one that will not touch any new surface, be it fleece, plastic or the carpet she's not been on for a few days - even after more than 2 years with me... mallethead

Just put the bowl in the cage for a few days with a few treats in and then switch over. By then it should hopefully have acquired the right kind of smell and feel!

I will try that and yes I did wash the bowl with mild dishwashing soap and water.
