my two boars are both healthy eaters, but worlds apart in tastes. Herbie doesn't like fruit, broccoli, yellow peppers. Sven on the other hand adores kale, hates green pepper, radishes and celery.

They agree on herbs, grass and their mutual dislike for fruit.

Herbie considers it strange that Sven does not like carrot cut up but will nibble a whole one.

What else can I try?

Have you tried, celery, green beans and cucumber. Big winners with all my pigs :)

Have you tried, cumcumber?! not very nutritions, just lots of water content. but still.. its a veg?!

I feel your pain, Amber is so picky! its a nightmare! and it changes! sometimes she will eat certain things other times she wont?! I cant keep up!

Chicory goes down well with my 4. The occasional baby sweet corn or cherry tomato are always well received. Their favourite is still herbs, cucumber and peppers. Kale is hit and miss (plus high in calcium) and only one of my pigs likes celery.,when did they all get to be so fussy?

This morning, for breakfast, my herd had spinach, parsley, loose leaf lettuce, red lettuce, carrot, red pepper, broccoli, baby sweet corn, parsnip, and blueberries. All eight of them love all that. Five of them also had celery and the other three had cucumber. Sometimes they'll have tomato instead of pepper, or cherry instead of blueberry. So its only celery that they are not ALL agreed on. I like celery, myself.

Yeah cucumber they both like, chicory is hit or miss. Baby corn and sugar snap peas I've tried but again they don't seem fussed.

My two live side by side and it seems to be a competition to who can leave what. I think it's more down to the fact that they have more than enough and can be selective.

My two like banana but blueberries baffled them they had no interest.

I thought tomato was too acidic for them?

Thanks for the ideas tho I'm open to trying new stuff for them.

The occasional cherry tomato is fine, but I wouldn't feed tomato too often as it is acidic and can give them sore mouths

My lot go mad for herbs, lettuce (gem and romaine), cucumber, celery, fruit, kale, pak choy, grapes...
Although they have now all lost interest in peppers... they ignore the green and barely nibble at the red or yellow. :mal:

Beetroot was a success for about five mins and now I have a fridge full of peppers and beetroot... typical pigs

if they like herbs and grass, try the leafy things like wild rocket, spinach, watercress, greens, pak choi, celery leaves, cauliflower leaves, lettuces etc :)

My two boys fave's are romaine/cos lettuce, sweetheart cabbage, celery leaves, cauli leaves, corriander, broccoli, cucumber. They both like cherry toms as a treat.

My two are going through a picky phase at the minute. Things that they usually bite my finger off for are being left until last (or Biscuit takes it off me, drops it & looks at me wanting something else). Biscuit has gone off kale & Fudge has gone off carrot, though both will eat them grudginly.

I've picked up a couple of more ideas to try from this thread, thanks :)
